Charges
Global Health Insights Journal is an open-access journal. To support the costs of editorial management, peer review, production, and hosting, Global Health Insights Journal applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) to manuscripts that pass peer review and are accepted for publication.
APC Structure
The Article Processing Charge for Global Health Insights Journal is US $120 per accepted article. There is no charge for submission or for peer review itself -- the APC applies only once a manuscript has been accepted. This rate is subject to periodic revision and is exclusive of applicable sales tax.
What the APC Covers
- Editorial and review operations: managing the editorial process, assigning appropriate reviewers, and supporting the peer-review workflow.
- Production: typesetting, copy-editing, assignment of persistent identifiers, indexing, and long-term archiving.
- Hosting and infrastructure: keeping the journal's articles freely and permanently accessible online.
Fee Support
Authors with insufficient funding to cover the APC may request a discount or a full waiver. Requests are considered case by case and do not affect the outcome of peer review, which is completed before any fee is discussed with authors.

Editorial Decisions and Fees
Global Health Insights Journal does not set acceptance or rejection targets. Editorial decisions are based solely on the peer-review process described in our Peer Review Policy; the APC is invoiced only after a manuscript has already been accepted for publication.
