To support this model, the Journal of Infectious Diseases and Pneumology (JIDP) implements Article Processing Charges (APCs) for articles that successfully pass peer review and are accepted for publication.

It is important to note that APCs are only payable after the manuscript is accepted for publication. However, authors are required to confirm during the submission process that they will be able to pay the APC if their manuscript is accepted. This ensures transparency and avoids delays in publication.

During the submission process, authors are required to:

  • Confirm that they understand the APC of $100 and commit to paying it upon acceptance.
