Scope and Focus
IARMS publishes a wide variety of manuscript types, including:
  • Original Research Articles: In-depth studies (up to 25 double-spaced pages, excluding references, with a maximum of 15 figures/tables).
  • Review Articles: Comprehensive syntheses of current knowledge (up to 20 double-spaced pages, excluding references, with up to 10 figures/tables).
  • Short Communications: Concise reports of significant findings (up to 10 double-spaced pages, excluding references, with 5 figures/tables).
  • Case Reports: Brief clinical or applied studies (up to 10 double-spaced pages, excluding references, with 5 figures/tables).
We welcome submissions that explore topics such as infectious diseases, environmental sustainability, public health, technological innovation, social dynamics, and more, with a particular emphasis on research relevant to Africa and global challenges.

Our efficient editorial workflow enables rapid publication, often within 10 days of acceptance, ensuring timely dissemination of research.
