Information For Authors
The International African Review of Multidisciplinary Sciences (IARMS) is a peer-reviewed online scientific journal dedicated to publishing original research and comprehensive analyses across various disciplines, including:
- Natural and Life Sciences: Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Medicine, Nursing, Public Health, Agriculture, etc.
- Social Sciences and Humanities: Sociology, Economics, Management, Law, Education, etc.
- Engineering and Technology: Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Energy, Artificial Intelligence, etc.
The journal offers a rapid publication process and a rigorous peer-review system to ensure the quality and impact of published research.
Types of Manuscripts Accepted
- Full-Length Research Articles: Up to 25 pages (excluding references), with a maximum of 15 figures and/or tables.
- Short Communications: Up to 10 pages, with a maximum of 5 figures and/or tables.
- Review Articles: Up to 20 pages, with a maximum of 10 figures and/or tables.
- Case Studies: Up to 10 pages, with a maximum of 5 figures and/or tables.

- New Authors: Must register with the journal before submitting.
- Returning Authors: Can log in and begin the five-step submission process.
Required Submission Documents
- Manuscript in Word (doc/docx) format (PDFs are not accepted).
- Cover Letter explaining the significance of the study.
- Author Declaration Form confirming originality and absence of conflicts of interest.
Submission Timeline
- A manuscript tracking number is assigned within 72 hours after submission.
- Initial peer-review feedback is provided within 3 to 4 weeks.
- Final publication occurs within 10 days after acceptance.
Manuscript Preparation
Document Format
- Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt, double-spaced, 1-inch (2.54 cm) margins.
- Line Numbering: Enabled, restarting on each page.
- Page Numbering: Bottom right corner.
- Language: English or French.
Manuscript Structure
- Title Page: Manuscript title, full names of authors with affiliations, corresponding author’s details.
- Abstract and Keywords: Maximum 350 words, 4-6 keywords.
- Introduction: Background, objectives, research hypothesis.
- Materials and Methods: Detailed methodology, ethical approvals.
- Results: Clear presentation of findings.
- Discussion: Interpretation, comparison with previous research.
- Conclusion: Summary of key findings.
- Acknowledgments (if applicable).
- Conflict of Interest Statement.
- References: Vancouver citation style, numbered citations in square brackets [ ].

Peer-Review and Publication Process
Rigorous and Timely Review
- Manuscripts undergo a double-blind review by at least two experts in the field.
- Peer-review feedback is provided within 3 to 4 weeks.
- If revisions are required, authors have 2 weeks to submit a revised version.
Decision and Publication
- Accepted articles are published within 10 days after final approval.
- IARMS follows a continuous publication model, ensuring prompt access to new research.
