Science Journal Hub is a technical publishing platform: each journal hosted here is edited by its own institution — a scientific society, university department, or research institute — and that institution sets and collects its own Article Processing Charge (APC) directly. There is no single, platform-wide fee.

Why fees vary by journal

Some journals hosted here charge no fee at all; others charge an APC to cover editorial and production costs. The amount, and whether a fee applies, is a decision made by each journal's own editorial team, not by Science Journal Hub.

Where to find a specific journal's fee

Every journal publishes its own Charges page under its "For Authors" menu, with the exact amount (if any), what it covers, and how to request a fee waiver. Visit the journal you're submitting to and check its own Charges page before submission — see the full list of journals.

What Science Journal Hub does and does not do

Science Journal Hub provides the technical infrastructure — hosting, the submission and review system, indexing support — that each journal runs on. Payment for publication, where it applies, goes directly to the journal's own institution; Science Journal Hub is not part of that transaction.
